Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the former Miss World doesn't need any long introduction. She is one of the popular diva of Bollywood who has been ruling the film industry for decades. The actress is happily married to Abhishek Bachchan for almost about a decade but that hasn't stopped her from working.
In fact, Aishwarya is one such actress who is still high in demand among the filmmakers who are keen to sign her for their flicks. Her popularity is rising with every passing day.
Ash has given several hits after her marriage and post she gave birth to Aaradhaya. But now it seems, the actress wants to explore more than just acting and has decided to give it a shot. Yes, we are talking about direction.
The actress has decided to don the director's hat after rocking the silver screens for years.
Talking about the same with a leading news daily, the Sarbjit actress said, "In a few years from now, I will surely turn director. All my directors and co- stars have teased me about it. Even AB [ Abhishek Bachchan] tells me that I should explore it. When I do direct, I will throw myself whole- heartedly in it. It will never be a fly- by night commitment for me, as my work consumes me completely. Even though I had only four scenes in Fanney Khan, I would have endless talks with Atul Manjrekar [ director] to understand them fully.”
However, she admits that will take some time to happen because “Interesting scripts are still coming my way. I’m excited about the possibility of working on them."
A few days back, we got the news about Ash reuniting with her hubby dearest for a film named Gulab Jamun which made their fans all excited.
Talking about the same, Ash said, "AB [Abhishek] and I have agreed to do Gulab Jamun. I told AB that he needs to decide what he wants to do after Manmarziyan. We had agreed on the idea then. However, it was around the same time that AB decided to take a time-out. After the hiatus, he returned with Manmarziyan, which coincidentally is directed by Anurag Kashyap. That’s when the chatter around Gulab Jamun began again, and we finally came on board. It is a beautiful script, and we fit the narrative perfectly.”
On the work front, Ash's much0awaited film Fanney Khan released today and has got a positive response from the fans.
