AICWA Imposed Ban On Mika Singh After His Performance In Pakistan

Bollywood singer Mika Singh has been in issue ever since performing in Pakistan. Now the All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) took action against the singer on Tuesday and banned him in the Bollywood industry. Also boycotted the production houses, music company and all their associations associated with them. He was paid about US $ 150,000 for this performance.

The association has also asked the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to take note of the matter. The association has announced a ban on Mika Singh. The association says that he has done wrong by doing this work for money at this crucial time.

Actually, Mika Singh performed on August 8 in Karachi to Parvez Musharraf's relative. The video was shared by Pakistani journalist Nayla Inayat. Inayat tweeted the video and said, 'Glad to see that recently, Indian singer Mika Singh performed in mehndi ceremony at the relative of General Musharraf in Karachi. If the same thing happened with Nawaz Sharif's relative, then the hashtags of the traitor would have been going on.'

The Indian fans' anger was also seen after the video of Mika Singh surfaced online. At the same time, he is being trolled on social media. His program is also being opposed in Pakistan. Leader of the Opposition, Syed Khurshid Shah of Pakistan People's Party said that the government should investigate how he got the visa. According to reports, the singer went to Pakistan with a crew of 14 people. He gave the performance on the night of 8 August. It is after the removal of article 370, Pakistan has also banned the display of Indian films.

A letter from AICWA President Suresh Shyamlal Gupta stated: “AICWA bans and boycott singer Mika Singh from the Indian film industry for performing at a high profile event at Karachi dated August 8, 2019. AICWA takes a tough stand of immediately boycotting all his association with movie production houses, music companies and online music content providers.”

The statement further read that “AICWA workers will make sure that no one in India works with Mika Singh and if anyone does, they will face consequences in the court of law. When the tension between the countries is at the peak, Mika Singh puts money above the nation’s pride.”
