Age No Bar To Do Something, Father-Son Duo Graduate Together In The Same Year

Have you ever seen parents and children fishing their graduation together? Well, that’s next to impossible and first of all this doesn’t make any sense.

There was a double celebration in the Shaikh family. Want to know why? And we bet the reason will amaze you.

Hazim Farook Shaikh graduated in Commerce from Mumbai University. What was more interesting was that Hazim’s father, Mohammad Farook Shaikh, also graduated in the same year as him from the YB Chavan University, Maharashtra. No, we are not kidding!

While Hazim Shaikh scored around 56 per cent, his dad Mohammad Farook scored roughly 49 per cent in their recently concluded university examination.

Mohammad Farook Shaikh is a cab driver by profession and chose to pursue his further education so it can enable him to get a good job opportunity.

Previously, Mohammed Shaikh was working as a junior clerk. But due to the financial crisis in his company, Farook Shaikh was compelled to leave his job from his job and drive a taxi professionally.

The trigger to seek after his further education became an integral factor when he understood that disregarding him picking up instruction from an English medium school; he was all the while driving a taxi.

Shaikh told a leading news portal, “There is no age to study. I'm happy that I've done my graduation. My excitement toward studies grew more. I hope that I pursue MCom.”

While his son stated, “I'm happy. I used to help him solve his difficulties and used to teach him. He had weekend classes while I had regular classes so I used to teach him at night.”

Hazim's mom was extremely happy with her child and husband, both graduating together. She said she was satisfied to see both of them helping each other in the studies.

Well, this is the first time we heard something like this. And we wish to see more such things happening in our country in the future. Hazim and his father are truly an inspiration to many of us.
