Divya Dutta is one of the popular actresses of Bollywood who has several hit films to her credit. Well, yesterday, the actress around 12.20 AM took to Twitter to tweet about the number of followers that reduced from her account.
She tweeted and complained to Twitter about the same. Divya’s tweet read:
“Aiyyo what happened @Twitter ?? Sudden drop of thousands of followers in one hr!!”
Divya currently has a whopping 493,000 fans following her on this popular micro-blogging site.
Well, Divya Dutta is not the first celebrity who faced this issue. Before her, megastar of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan too faced the same issue in the month of February and expressed his disappointment on Twitter.
The Paa actor accused the social media giant of reducing the number of his followers.
Divya’s tweet comes after many prominent Twitter users across the world lost more than a million followers as federal and state agencies in the US started investigating shadowy agencies that sell fake followers.
We hope, Twitter listens to Divya’s complain and looks into this matter.
On the work front, Divya will be seen in Fanney Khan where she plays Anil Kapoor’s wife. The movie also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Fanney Khan will release on 3rd August.
Divya Dutta has previously shared screen space with many Bollywood biggies in films like Heroine, Delhi 6, BAdlapur, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Veer-Zara, Special 26, Umrao Jaan.

Divya started her filmy career in the year 1994 with the film Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna and went on to do a bundle of films since then till date.
