Aaliyah Kashyap opens up about the hate she got for her video where she talks about drugs and pregnancy with father Anurag Kashyap

Anurag Kashyap's daughter Aaliyah Kashyap appeared on a chat show recently where she talked about the kind of hate she received from people over her YouTube video where she discussed tabooed topics like drugs, pregnancies, and boyfriends with her father, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.

Aaliyah has her own YouTube channel where she vlogs her life and does sit-down videos too. She had done a video with Anurag where she asked him ‘awkward questions for parents’ sent in by fans.

During her appearance on a chat show, Aaliyah revealed that while some people appreciated her for asking these questions to him as they got answers to questions they are too afraid to ask their parents, others trolled her and asked her to be ashamed of herself.

Aaliyah said, “I have gotten a lot of messages from people talking about how it’s good to see such a progressive parent. People have questions and they are too afraid to ask their parents and so it’s nice for them to have a medium to get answers to their questions. But there’s also the other side - people that are a little more sheltered or reserved that aren’t very comfortable with it.”

Aaliyah further added that she is very comfortable with her parents and sees them as her friends. She can discuss anything with them and this is the reason that she doesn't do anything silly and has to hide it from them.
