Alaviaa did her schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai. She is studying at the Parsons School of Design in New York. She has two brothers. She has an elder brother named Meezaan and a younger brother Abbas. Meezan made his Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Malaal.

Bollywood is waiting for Alaivaa to make her debut in films.
