2-YO child rescued miraculously after falling from 6th floor; Locals catch him using blanket

Miracles are always there to happen and it comes at a time when it is most needed. In a recent incident, a 2 year old child was seen falling from the sixth floor of a building in Chongqing, China. But thanks to the locals, who thought and responded quickly enough for rescuing the kid with a blanket.


The video of the incident was shared on social media platforms, and within no time it became viral. In the video, we can see a toddler hanging from a window's sill from the sixth floor of a building.  After some seconds, he lost his grip from the shelf and was seen falling straight down. But in the video, we can see that a crowd of locals and onlookers were there to offer a blanket to catch the falling child.


A staff member working in the housing society, named as Zhu Yanhui told the reporters that he really felt to rush and catch the child as he saw him in this dire situation. She said that the kid was dangling up on the balcony and her first reaction was to catch him. She thought about going there and catches with her bare hands, but that might have created more problems. She said that she held out a blanket with other people and kept a close eye on the child. She was always tense about the fact that whether she could catch the child safely.

She said that she was there at the moment holding out the blanket and after 10 seconds the boy fell from the balcony. Zhu Yanhuiworks for a property management company and said that the boy fell too fast. The onlookers were applauding for the quick response that resulted in saving the life of the kid.  There are still many other questions such as the whereabouts of the parents of the kid, whether he was along and what led to this incident.
