After 11 years of hard work; Husband, wife top Chattisgarh Public Service Commission Exam

We all have a great respect for the people who take competitive exams like UPSC without giving up, despite successive failures. Such competitive exams are not a cake walk and actually it requires a lot of patience and dedication to achieve the desired results. The patience, dedication and hard work will be worthy once you clear the exams successfully.

Recently, a couple in Bilaspur, Chattisgarh, has topped the Chattisgarh Public Service Commission examination merit list, after years of hard work, dedication and persistence.


The couple, Anubhav Singh and wife Vibha Singh topped the first and second place respectively in the examination.

Anubhav said that he was very much excited and said that the previous failure never hurt his confidence, rather it inspired him very much leading to his success.

Speaking to the media, Anubhav said, "It is difficult to express how happy we feel today. I have been waiting for this moment all my life. After so many unsuccessful attempts, I still believed that we both would clear the examination.”.

Both of them had been preparing seriously for the exam for the last 11 years. They first met in 2008 and got married in 2014.


They used to study together and whenever they used to sit together to chat, they would turn into a study session.

Talking about the success, Vibha said, "I knew we both would get selected, but did not fathom that we would top the exam."

Vibha had been working as the Assistant Development Officer (ADO) in the Department Of Panchayat and Rural Development for the last 7 years and she has been balancing her studies and work together for all these years.

The couple have set a huge example for all the aspiring people who are going to try their luck in the competitive exams. They say that with continuous hard work and patience you will be able to reach where ever you wish to be.
